This easy homemade lasagna recipe is the perfect pan of pasta to make a crowd!
Ingredients
- 1 box lasagna noodles
- 8 cups spaghetti sauce
- 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces cottage cheese
- 16 ounces Italian cheese blend
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
Parboil the lasagna noodles just until they bend without cracking, 3–4 minutes. Drain, rinse with hot water, and set aside. - In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Stir in ricotta, cottage cheese, half of the Italian cheese blend, basil, parsley, garlic salt, and onion powder until evenly combined.
- Spread 1½ cups of spaghetti sauce over the bottom of a lasagna pan. Lay down a single layer of noodles, slightly overlapping.
- Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the noodles and smooth it to the edges. Top with about 2 cups of sauce, spreading gently.
- Add a second layer of noodles, the remaining cheese mixture, and another layer of sauce.
